Artists come first
Every decision starts with the people who make the work: fair terms, clear pricing, and a studio they control. Artists keep 85% of every sale by default.
About ARTASIN
A home for original work and the people who make it. A place where artists meet each other, and meet the people who will love what they make.
Our story
It begins in a small studio, a spare room, a verandah at dusk. Someone mixes a colour for the tenth time, carves until the light is gone, starts again when a line will not sit right. By the time a piece is finished it carries weeks of work and something of the person who made it.
What happens next is often left to chance. Work is shared on Instagram and sold over WhatsApp. Prices are settled in messages, commissions rest on a promise, and much of the best work never travels beyond the artist's own circle.
ARTASIN began with a simple belief: the people who make art should shape the place where it is shown and sold. So we built it the way artists work. A verified studio of their own, a portfolio for the pieces that made them, a Journal for the story behind the work, and a fair way to sell.
It is just as much for everyone else. The collector looking for something original. The family wanting a painting of the home they grew up in. The artist hoping to find others working in the same medium, the same city, the same tradition.
Our motto
Creating a platform for artists to connect with other artists and with people interested in art.
What we believe
Every decision starts with the people who make the work: fair terms, clear pricing, and a studio they control. Artists keep 85% of every sale by default.
We show the artist, the process and the story, not just a price, because that is what makes a piece worth living with.
We began with artists from Maharashtra and speak both English and Marathi. Anyone who makes or loves original art belongs here.
Some of the most important connections an artist makes are with other artists. Browse the Artists directory to find people working in your medium or your city, read how they work in the Journal, and share what you have learned in your own posts.
Whether you make art or live with it, there is a place for you here. Join the artists already building their studios, or start a collection of your own.
