Nostalgia — “Memories That Remain”
This painting represents nostalgia—the feeling of looking back at moments that can never be experienced in the same way again.
The dry leaf in the centre represents a memory from the past. Once it was green and alive, but now it has dried and changed, just like moments that were once full of life but can never return in the same form.
Through this painting, I wanted to express that nostalgia is not simply remembering the past—it is feeling the presence of something that is no longer there. Some moments fade with time, some wounds leave marks, and some memories remain quietly attached to us, no matter how far we move forward.
