About My Weaving Art
Weaving is not only a textile-making technique for me, but also a medium of artistic expression through threads, colours, lines, and textures. Tapestry weaving has a special place in my artistic practice.
I use different coloured and textured yarns to create pictorial and abstract compositions. While weaving, I focus on colour, composition, texture, and technical processes to develop each artwork.
My work attempts to create a dialogue between traditional textile techniques and contemporary visual language, making weaving an important medium for expressing my individual artistic ideas.
